Dysport in Centennial, CO
Dysport
Dysport is a Galderma neuromodulator, and it’s the only wrinkle-relaxing injectable we offer at Shape Aesthetics + Wellness in Centennial, CO. We made that choice deliberately — Dysport is often confused with Botox, since both temporarily relax the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles, but we chose Dysport specifically for its safety profile and how well it works alongside the rest of our Galderma lineup. Our specialists tailor every treatment to your goals, so results look like you, only rested.
Dysport vs. Botox: Why We Choose Dysport
Dysport and Botox are both neuromodulators — injectables that temporarily relax the small facial muscles responsible for expression lines like frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead creases. The difference is in the manufacturer and the formulation. Botox is made by Allergan; Dysport is made by Galderma, the same company behind Restylane and Sculptra. We chose to work exclusively with Galderma across all three product categories, so Dysport was the natural fit for our neuromodulator of choice. Reasons we prefer it:
- A well-established safety profile backed by Galderma’s manufacturing standards.
- A slightly faster onset for many patients, often visible within 2 to 3 days.
- A softer, more diffuse spread that can look especially natural in areas like the forehead.
- Consistency with the rest of our Galderma-based treatment philosophy, so Dysport combines predictably with Restylane and Sculptra when we layer treatments.
We don’t offer Botox at Shape Aesthetics + Wellness. If you’ve researched Botox for frown lines, crow’s feet, or forehead wrinkles, Dysport treats the exact same areas — we just do it with a different, Galderma-made product.
Ideal Candidates for Dysport
Dysport is a good fit for people who:
- Want to soften frown lines, forehead lines, or crow’s feet without surgery.
- Are looking for a neuromodulator but want to understand their options beyond Botox.
- Are already using Restylane or Sculptra with us and want to add dynamic wrinkle control to their treatment plan.
- Prefer a natural, refreshed look rather than a “frozen” appearance.
- Are in good overall health with realistic expectations.
FAQS
Is Dysport the same as Botox?
No. Both are neuromodulators that relax the muscles behind expression lines, but they’re made by different companies — Botox by Allergan, Dysport by Galderma. We chose Dysport specifically because it’s made by Galderma, the same manufacturer behind the Restylane and Sculptra we also use.
What areas can Dysport treat?
Dysport is most commonly used for frown lines between the eyebrows, forehead lines, and crow’s feet around the eyes. Your provider will map the right areas for your goals during your consultation.
Is a Dysport treatment painful?
Most patients describe it as a quick pinch. Treatments take about 10 to 15 minutes and require no downtime, so you can return to your day right after.
How long do Dysport results last?
Results typically last 3 to 4 months, though this varies by individual. Many patients schedule maintenance appointments to keep results consistent.
How does Dysport fit into a layered treatment plan?
Dysport handles dynamic wrinkle control — the lines caused by movement. Paired with Sculptra, which rebuilds collagen, and Restylane, which restores volume, it’s one piece of our stacking philosophy: structure, volume, and surface working together for full-face restoration.
